Added tools beyond my sewing machine.
Our business is moving in new directions and HP Canada has been an enormous help in getting us there. In order for our business to continue to thrive and operate efficiently we require some extra tools outside of a sewing machine, crystals and pearls to produce our bridal accessories. Once all the pretty pieces are complete, the next step is to sell them. We also need to print professional documents, preferably without running to a print shop all the time, and we also needed a light weight Point-of-sale terminal. So today we just wanted to take some time out today to reflect on how HP Canada played an integral role in transforming our business capabilities.
Everything isn’t black and white there are some grey areas and as a young entrepreneur I need help with those grey areas. Today I am so happy to say that HP has really helped us do just that by providing us with some much needed technology to enhance our business performance.
I love creating accessories with many different materials, especially feathers! With all the time saved from travelling back and forth to the print shop I am have some extra time to focus on making new products and print our display cards on our HP Page Wide Pro MFP, the quality is second to none.
Our HP Elitebook Folio 1020 G1 laptop serves as our Point-of-sale terminal at Pop up shops and various events, when clients make purchases. Here is a photo of another happy client with her new bracelet which was hand made with Swarovski crystals for a brilliant sparkle.
Because my accessories are designed and primarily handmade by me, my works days are split between my office and my studio. Having an extra laptop now means each staff member has their own computer at their workstation, which increases productivity. With the wireless printing capabilities I can easily print information for my staff from the studio with ease. This is my favorite function. Overall I am extremely happy with all the features that the HP Elitebook Folio 1020 G1 laptop has. I am still learning, to use a few features, but I love the ones I have mastered, and the long battery life is an added bonus. Expectations met, expectations exceeded, minds blown!
